What is MailChimp?
MailChimp is well established, highly respected and internationally trusted online newsletter creation software. Emails from MailChimp are less likely to be seen as spam than if you sent all your customers a bulk email from your usual email address.
We use MailChimp to send our newsletters. It has the benefit of being both a simple tool or one that you can use to carry out lots of exciting email marketing tasks.
Instructions
Below there were some some basic instructions to get you started using MailChimp. However, things have changes and the best thing to do is follow their own guide on how to send an email campaign.
MailChimp also have a useful help section. Or you can search with Google or YouTube for anything specific you would like to do.
The first requirement for MailChimp to work is having people signed up to your mailing list. Or at least having given their ‘express permission’ under the UK GDPR.
