The Client
The Burdens Group Limited are long established agricultural machinery dealer. As New Holland main dealers for Lincolnshire, they operate from five separate depots.
The group also offers many other franchises via their nine divisions. From machinery stocks to garden machinery and even specialist vegetable harvesting machines.
The New Burdens Group Website Project
The Burdens Group website had not been upgraded for quite a few years. It therefore lacked many of the features that a website requires nowadays to be ‘Google friendly’, and therefore did not rank on search engines. They had also recently brought the Lincolnshire Motors business into the group.
It was vital that the new website would be a full custom build, whilst incorporating excellent search engine optimisation. From virtual invisibility on Google to page one rankings would be a challenge. To give us an advantageous start they commissioned one of our SEO Research Audit and Strategy Reports.
Thankfully Burdens are great clients and worked closely with us to understand what we asked of them. They allowed us to guide and lead them, letting us thoroughly implement the strategy outlined in the SEO report.
The project also needed to easily communicate to visitors that the group is made up of nine different divisions spread over five depots. Their range of products and services is considerable. Potential customers need to be able to find exactly what they are looking for, and quickly too.
The Future
Burdens have since commissioned another SEO Research Audit and Strategy Report with a view to further enhancing their online presence.
